    About Ahmed Ebadullah

Ebad holds an LL.B. (Hons) from the University of London and a B.E. in Civil Engineering from the National University of Science and Technology (NUST). He is a registered engineer with the Pakistan Engineering Council and is admitted as a lawyer in Pakistan. Ebad's dual background in law and civil engineering gives him a distinctive perspective on construction, engineering, and infrastructure-related matters. He gained early experience across general practice environments and worked on construction projects, equipping him with practical knowledge of project and contract management. Ebad works primarily in matters pertaining to dispute resolution and corporate practice, supporting senior counsel on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious matters. Ebad has been involved in a number of international and institutional arbitration proceedings, including matters before the Dubai International Arbitration Centre (DIAC), the Japan Commercial Arbitration Association (JCAA), and ad hoc arbitrations. He has also assisted on pre-arbitration and pre-litigation dispute matters, including claims involving contractors and engineering consultants, and has contributed to matters relating to oil and gas and construction-related disputes. His non-contentious practice encompasses corporate and commercial work, including company incorporations, mergers and acquisitions, reviewing and drafting commercial agreements, and providing strategic legal advice. He regularly undertakes complex legal research and prepares detailed memoranda of advice for clients across various sectors. Ebad is also actively involved in a public-private partnership (PPP) project for the development of three animal quarantine centres under the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources in Oman, providing him with hands-on exposure to the regulatory, contractual, and transactional dimensions of PPP frameworks. Ebad speaks English and Urdu.
