    Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using LawBot. These terms govern your access to and use of our platform, AI services, and lawyer marketplace.

    Acceptance of terms

    • By accessing or using LawBot, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.
    • If you do not agree to all these terms, you must not use the platform.
    • These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and LawBot (Pvt.) Ltd., a company registered in Pakistan.

    Description of service

    • LawBot provides an AI-powered legal assistance platform connecting clients with verified lawyers in Pakistan.
    • Our services include AI legal Q&A, a lawyer marketplace, case management tools, document drafting assistance, and legal databases.
    • LawBot AI responses are for informational purposes only and do not constitute legal advice. Always consult a qualified lawyer for advice specific to your situation.

    User accounts

    • You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use LawBot.
    • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
    • You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.
    • You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
    • Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access.

    Lawyer accounts & verification

    • Lawyers registering on LawBot must hold a valid Pakistan Bar Council (PBC) or Provincial Bar Council enrolment.
    • By registering as a lawyer, you consent to LawBot verifying your credentials with the relevant bar council or court records.
    • Providing false credentials is grounds for immediate account termination and may be reported to the relevant bar council.
    • Lawyers are solely responsible for the legal advice they provide to clients through the platform.

    Prohibited conduct

    • You may not use LawBot to engage in any unlawful activity under Pakistani law.
    • You may not impersonate any person, lawyer, or organisation.
    • You may not upload or transmit malicious code, viruses, or disruptive content.
    • You may not scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the platform without written permission.
    • You may not use the platform to harass, threaten, or harm other users.
    • You may not attempt to reverse-engineer or interfere with the AI systems powering LawBot.

    AI disclaimer

    • LawBot's AI is trained on Pakistani legal texts and is designed to be helpful and accurate, but it can make errors.
    • AI-generated responses are informational only and do not establish a lawyer-client relationship between users and LawBot.
    • LawBot does not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or applicability of AI-generated content to any specific legal situation.
    • Users rely on AI responses at their own risk and should verify important legal information with a qualified lawyer.

    Fees & payments

    • Certain features of LawBot are available on a subscription or per-use fee basis.
    • All fees are stated in Pakistani Rupees (PKR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes.
    • Subscription fees are billed monthly or annually in advance and are non-refundable except as required by law.
    • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' advance notice to existing subscribers.

    Intellectual property

    • All platform content, AI systems, branding, and software are the exclusive property of LawBot (Pvt.) Ltd.
    • You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from LawBot's content without written consent.
    • Content you upload to the platform (case documents, descriptions) remains your property; you grant LawBot a limited licence to process it for service delivery.

    Limitation of liability

    • To the maximum extent permitted by Pakistani law, LawBot's liability to you for any claim is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
    • LawBot is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including loss of data or business interruption.
    • LawBot is not liable for the advice, conduct, or services of any lawyer connected through the platform.

    Termination

    • You may delete your account at any time from your account settings.
    • LawBot may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms, with or without notice.
    • Upon termination, your right to access the platform ceases immediately.

    Governing law

    • These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
    • Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lahore, Pakistan.

    Changes to terms

    • We may revise these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or prominent platform notice at least 14 days in advance.
    • Your continued use of LawBot after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
